Here’s the inside scoop on the local real estate market. The market was consistent throughout April and May as the number of sales and median sale prices remained steady. Similarly, listings are still selling in about 3 weeks on average. With the warm weather finally here, so are the new listings… There are almost 400 active listings in Guelph. Along with home prices, mortgage rates have remained stagnant. As of June 5th, the Bank of Canada policy interest rate has dropped to 4.75%. They are predicted to gradually go down by the end of the year. This is good news for homeowners and those who are considering a purchase.
